Nell Wilson is a native of the great state of Mississippi where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mississippi. She obtained her Master of Arts degree from the University of Memphis. After working as a pediatric audiologist in Arkansas, she joined Otologic Medical Clinic providing a wide variety of audiological services as well as participating in research at Hough Ear Institute. She joined Audio Recovery, Inc. in 2007. Nell is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association in which she holds a Certificate in Clinical Competence in Audiology.
Mrs. Wilson and her husband, John, have an adult son and daughter. Both of her children are accomplished musicians, and she enjoys participating in anything musical in which her children are involved. She and her husband have been volunteering with a group which provides spiritual support for young people on military bases, college campuses and the community.
Quote from Nell: “I feel that being an audiologist is my calling in life. Fulfillment comes from seeing my patients begin to ‘blossom’ again as they re-discover the joy of communicating with their family and grandchildren.”
What are you known for?
“We work with a population who may feel like they are handicapped. I’ve dealt with similar issues in my personal life, and know that life goes on. I am here to help. I am very patient, and love working with older people.”

What are you passionate about professionally?
“Seeing someone who hasn’t heard well for a long time feel the joy of communicating with their family and grandchildren.”
Volunteer activities:
“I’m active in my church youth group, and I support a group that actively volunteers on military bases and college campuses.”
What would be impossible for you to give up?
“Chocolate.”

The Saving Life of Christ, and The Sound of Music.
How do you want to be remembered?
“I want to be remembered as someone who looked to the interests of others, and brought out the best in them.”
